Product: Simcom Fuel / Simcom Water
Simcom now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) integration with Microsoft Entra ID, formerly known as Azure Active Directory, using the OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocol. SSO became available to all Simcom customers from August 1, 2025.
With SSO enabled, Simcom users authenticate through their organization's Microsoft identity provider rather than maintaining a separate Simcom password. When an employee's account is deactivated in Entra ID, their Simcom access is revoked automatically.
Centralized credential management
IT administrators manage Simcom access through the same systems they use for all other enterprise applications. No separate password policy, no separate account provisioning.
Fewer login issues
Users authenticate with their standard corporate credentials. Password reset and account recovery follow the organization's existing IT processes.
Enterprise security alignment
Conditional access policies, MFA enforcement, and security monitoring configured in Entra ID apply automatically to Simcom sessions - without any additional configuration in Simcom.
SSO is optional. Customers who prefer to continue using Simcom's existing authentication can do so without changes to their workflow.
Contact Computrol to enable SSO for your organization. Configuration requires your organization's Entra ID tenant details and takes approximately one business day to set up.
